Learning to Lead: Student Leadership Workshop

Develop your leadership potential as a future healthcare professional!
This opportunity is for post-secondary students, especially those in a health profession program, who are looking to learn about the tools and resources to become an exceptional leader. Learn how to lead others, develop important skills, and gain leadership qualities from South Dakota’s healthcare leaders. This free event is a great way to learn career skills on your path to leadership.
Topics will include:
  • Effective communication skills
  • Create a strong team environment
  • Develop team building skills
  • Successful interviewing techniques
  • Qualities that make a remarkable leader

By attending this workshop, SD AHEC Scholars will receive 20 hours of educational/didactic credit.

There is no cost to attend this event and lunch is provided for attendees.
