Our Initiatives
K-12 Student Engagement
We inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals by offering:
- Scrubs Camps – Hands-on experiences introducing students to various healthcare careers.
- Project NEXT: Telehealth Student Practicum – A virtual learning opportunity exploring telehealth and health technology.
- Job Shadowing & Career Exploration – Connecting students with healthcare professionals to gain real-world insights.
Educator Support & Professional Development
We equip teachers and school administrators with the tools to introduce students to health careers through:
- Classroom presentations and career exploration resources.
- Professional development opportunities focused on integrating healthcare topics into curricula.
Healthcare Workforce Development
We provide continuing education and networking opportunities for healthcare professionals, including:
- EMS Webinars: Emergency Care Continuing Education – Monthly sessions on critical EMS topics.
- AHEC Scholars Program – A two-year leadership development program for health professions students interested in serving rural and underserved communities.
